Ad Campaign Launched

In November, the Ontario Libertarian Party launched an advertising campaign in the "National Personals" section of the Globe & Mail. The campaign's objective was to raise awareness of the party's position on the Tory "Common Sense Revolution."

Inquiries are still being received at our office. All inquiries were mailed a low-cost package of articles on the "Revolution," plus general information on the party, which will be followed up with this issue of Bulletin.

The campaign was made possible by the generosity of three members, each of whom wrote and financed one advertisement.

Party Leader George Dance hopes that the party will be able to run similar advertisements during 1996, in the Globe and other media.

While under Commission on Election Finance regulations, the Party may not solicit contributions for specific purposes (such as an advertising campaign), supporters who wish us to place certain ads in certain media, and who are willing to make contributions to cover the cost, will be listened to.
