For the first time in its history the Ontario Libertarian Party is pleased to be a part of the Toronto Pride Parade, July 1, 2012.

Party leader Allen Small reminded executive members during a meeting this week that: "our involvement in the Pride parade should be viewed as an attempt to reach out to a demographic that ought to be supportive of our values, given our history."

Ontario Libertarians are known to accept people as they are, and believe that all people should have access to the same rights and privileges as everyone else.

More than thirty years ago in Toronto, the Ontario Libertarian Party was the only political party in Ontario to take a principled stand against the infamous police bath house raids in Toronto. The fact is, when the Ontario Libertarian Party was founded, some of its members then, and throughout its history right up to the present day were part of the LGBTQ community.

The Ontario Libertarian Party has been a registered political party since 1975. We advocate property rights, limited government, and voluntary interactions within communities between individuals and groups.
